Work in progress continued...
today was a very successful day. i managed to stay home in my pj's without running a single errand!
i also made progress on a couple of art pieces. I really like working on several pieces at once. I also like my decision to paint everyday, NOT complete a painting a day. I never feel overwhelmed. I know I can squeeze in at least one hour and sometimes that hour turns into even more. The paintings are developing slowly and thoughtfully. I am finally finding my rhythm.
I am so in awe of your work. I love your colors and texture.... love love love it!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Enjoy the process, it's looking beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDear Sarah, I discovered your wonderful blog a couple of weeks ago. I like your paintings, their mood and the palette of colours you use. Your women provoke my imagination and I love looking at them. I'm not an artist, although connected with Art, but the process of creating has always been interesting to me. I wish you a year full of health, love and inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a perfect day, staying in your pj's all day and painting. I'm enjoying watching the progress of your painting.
ReplyDeleteI love this! but then: I love all of your work! So nice you got to stay home and paint.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like great news! You're right, it does work doing a little bit each day and I too am finally finding my rhythm. Sometimes the minutes turn into hours when I'm lucky but just getting on with it is the main thing isn't it? This one has really come to life, she looks as though she's about to step out of the painting! xx
