IF: Blanket



I've been using oils in my paintings lately. This one I used acrylics for the background, collaged old maps, and oils for the face, and blanket. I really like the dreamy blendy qualities, but it definitely takes more time.

    I love this! She seems sad to me, maybe because of the lone house on the horizon. Nice piece.

    I work with Maps a lot too, and really like how luminous you've made the stars in the blanket. Is she a self portrait? Nicely done Sarah!
