IF = Subtract

I may have stretched the idea of the theme this week.
I used an old book with mathematical tables as the background ;)
Theres lots of algebraic subtraction equations.
As it turns out I used algebra for something! I never thought I would.

This painting is larger than the usual size I've been working in. It is 9" x 7.5" x .75"

It's cool how (now that I've been looking at these IF things for a couple months now), I can recognize people's work. I really really like this picture. I love the layers of them, and all the cool textures--but in this one in particular, they're softer in the face, almost happy and so responding to each other. WAY cool!

I think it's a wonderful use of the theme, Sarah! Very subtle and works really well. The piece is beautiful.

This is a lovely picture, they look like such good friends. That's funny that you have finally found a use for algebra-I'm still looking...

All your work is lovely, but I especially like this one. It's very tender somehow.
