pale yellow

i used a texture called "blended fibers" on the background, it gave a wonderful bumpy surface where the paint could move forward and back.
I did a glazing treatment on her face, using primarily yellows, what a fun experiment!

i have to say, i never thought i would like yellow so much

What a fascinating effect, it's almost as though you have exposed her veins. Amazing.

i like the texture, but what captured me was her eyes.

It's hard to do portraits in yellow without making the subject look hepatic and sick.
You did a great job...love the textures!
